Lead Product Designer

Netherlands, Noord-Holland, AmsterdamDesign

Job description

Help us reinvent the hybrid work experience.

Say what?

Hybrid working has been adopted and embraced with unprecedented speed. Now that we’ve all had a taste of the flexibility it can offer, there’s no going back. But freedom comes at a cost. Hybrid work has added 25% more meeting hours to the average workday.

What if you could miss a meeting without missing out? What if catching up was easier than sitting in? What if an hour of discussion could be digested in just 7 minutes?

At Carv, we’re building a meeting intelligence platform like no other.

The team

We've been there before, and we absolutely loved it; building a company, taking a rough idea, and turning it into a global market leader. We did it once, and we are doing it again. The Product & Engineering team, responsible for the design and development of the Carv.com platform, is mission-critical for our success. For this team, we are looking for a new Lead Product Designer.

The role

The Lead Product Designer will drive and contribute to the platform's initial release. Our ideal candidate understands the balance between fast delivery and becoming future-ready on a strategic level. In execution, all team members get their hands dirty. We have a boots-on-the-ground mentality where we all contribute and pick up the pieces when needed. Especially in the early stages, you need to be as creative as possible.

Building a plane while flying it; that's what it can feel like when growing a company while working towards a first release. We expect the Lead Product Designer to support new team members' onboarding and build a great design system/culture. With the team's growth, new career opportunities will arise fast for the ones who are ready.
