The team

The R&D team, responsible for the design, prototyping, and developing next-generation ML/AI tools and methodologies for the Carv.com platform, is mission-critical for our success. For this team, we are looking for a new NLP Engineer.

The role
As part of Carvs’ R&D team, the NLP Engineer will help design, prototype, and develop next-generation ML/AI tools and methodologies to transform how we capture, structure, and re-purpose meeting data. In addition, you will support the product & development team to leverage existing solutions to maximize the speed of delivery, but also have the opportunity to envision, scope, design, build, and test new solutions from the ground up. You have the intent to be a domain expert, both in the organization and in the broader field of Computational Linguistics. You love to educate and inspire the internal team and can connect with experts in the field and make them enthusiastic about the Carv mission.

Job requirements

Required:

  • Strong knowledge in modern NLP techniques such as RNNs, Transformers, BERT, GPT, etc.;
  • Experience with Foundation NLP models;
  • Experience with NLP techniques like semantic search, embeddings, summarization;
  • Experience in natural language processing tools and platforms (such spaCy, SciKit, OpenNLP, NLTK, CoreNLP, Gensim);
  • Experience in Machine Learning toolkits (TensorFlow, PyTorch);
  • Experience with other machine learning algorithms, including random forest, SVM, boosting, neural networks, etc.

Preferred:

  • Experienced in building Speech Recognition Systems;
  • Experience in ML/NLP for audio signal.
