The Product & Engineering team, responsible for the design and development of the Carv.com platform, is mission-critical for our success. For this team, we are looking for a new Senior UI Designer.
The role
The Senior UI Designer will drive and contribute to the platform's initial release. Our ideal candidate understands the balance between fast delivery and becoming future-ready on a strategic level. In execution, all team members get their hands dirty. We have a boots-on-the-ground mentality where we all contribute and pick up the pieces when needed.
Your key responsibilities:
- Create and implement the visual design of Carv's digital product and features, including the overall look and feel, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy of the user interface;
- Work closely with the product team to understand the needs of the users and to design user-centered interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use;
- Create and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across all digital products.
- Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize and test design concepts;
- Work with development teams to ensure that the design is implemented correctly and to troubleshoot any issues that may arise;
- Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure that Carv's digital product is at the forefront of innovation.

Job requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI designer, with a strong portfolio of relevant work;
- Track record in creating digital products --> so functionalities beyond websites;
- Strong skills in design software such as Figma, Adobe XD, and/or Sketch;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills;
- Passion for creating innovative and user-friendly digital products;
- A creative mastermind;
- A strategic thinker that can understand and contribute to strategic discussions. Can elevate a discussion and grasp the essence of rough ideas.
