What Are We Looking For?
We’re seeking an experienced Head of Delivery & Customer Success to lead our client success initiatives and delivery operations from our Amsterdam HQ. In this hybrid leadership role, you’ll oversee the seamless delivery of our solutions to clients while driving long-term success through strategic customer partnerships. The role will require a hands-on mentality from the start and lead-by-example when growing the team.

As the Head of Delivery & Customer Success, you’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Technical teams to ensure that every client not only adopts but thrives with Carv. You’ll take full ownership of the delivery and success functions, shaping our processes, mentoring your team, and building a customer-centric culture that fuels Carv’s growth and impact.

What Will You Be Doing?

Delivery & Implementation Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end client delivery, ensuring projects are scoped, implemented, and completed to the highest standard.

  • Own and optimize the implementation lifecycle, from gathering initial requirements to fully integrating the system and going live.

  • Design and refine scalable frameworks, tools, and processes to support efficient and seamless solution delivery.

  • Collaborate with clients to configure and customize solutions tailored to their specific business needs.

  • Manage technical integrations, including APIs and other cloud-based components, ensuring smooth compatibility with client ecosystems.

  • Build and lead a high-performing Delivery team as the function scales.

Customer Success Strategy

  • Champion the client journey, driving adoption, satisfaction, and long-term retention.

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts, fostering trust and acting as a client advocate.

  • Define and measure key success metrics for clients and ensure those goals are consistently achieved.

  • Develop and deliver resources such as onboarding guides, support content, and training programs to maximize client success.

  • Gather client feedback and work collaboratively with the Product team to influence the roadmap and enhance the platform’s value.

Operational Excellence

  • Implement tools and systems to track, analyze, and continuously improve delivery and success performance.

  • Streamline operational processes to enhance team efficiency and client outcomes.

  • Drive innovation in how we deliver and support our solutions, leveraging AI and automation wherever possible.

Job requirements

Experience:

  • Strong background in the Recruitment tech space, ideally with experience in AI-driven solutions.

  • 7+ years in Delivery, Customer Success, or Implementation leadership roles in SaaS.

  • Proven track record managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex, client-facing projects.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with SaaS platforms, APIs, system integrations, and cloud-based technologies.

  • Familiarity with automation workflows, database structures, and AI-related functionalities.

  • Ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams, translating complex ideas into actionable solutions.

Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities in both Dutch and English.

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA or similar for project management and optimization.

  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to balance strategic objectives and client satisfaction.
